raced a 96 mark 8 lincoln from 80 to 110. he walked me by about 3 cars instantly!!!! he handed me my own a$$!!! maybe he had nos????

 

HUH??? how did that happen? even with nos that thing should have a problem with u, those things are bricks almost 4K lbs.
ive never had a problem with any lincoln. unless he was some rich guy who built a frankenstein motor and threw is in there, damn i would. i swear one day im gonna but a caravan, and strip the whole thing, throw the viper motor in the back, and really **** off some hondas. imagine gettin ur doors blown off my a minivan now thats a sleeper!

 

I had the same thought, except I was thinking of throwing the RT/10 motor in the old Neon!

 

imagine how funnt that would look, even better it will all be worth it just to see the look on their face. td probably give hennessy a call and throw in the twin turbo motor, imagine those other corvette owners gettin the @$$ handed to them but a 800+hp minivan. i swear if i got the cash for it im gonna do i, just wait one day ur all gonna see it on motor trend, first minivan runnin 10's

 

i saw a turbo 4 cylinder carivan on the internet run mid 12's in a movie clip. it even had woodgrain on the side. get this, it beat a new camaro ss that ran low 13. wow! huh?

 

the only thing worth it, is just to see the look on the other guys face, like what the hell just happened?

I think I start searching for a Chrysler Aeries K rally car, junk car that I could roll in the ditch, drive through fields, jump broken bridges with, etc. (sort of like the Dukes of Hazard). I ran across this link about turbo minivans and thought it was some sort of joke. I saw the video and could not believe my eyes. I did a search on turbo minivans and found lots of people online with 12 and 13 second minivans.

 

Those Lincolns are sleepers. Maybe he had some Mustang GT Mods under the hood.

I read that too.....they said they messed around with ricers and muscles on the freeway and ****ed off many of them...

 

Let's not forget that the Mark VIII's motor is a detuned Cobra motor. With a few minor changes, that car could be quite nasty on takeoff. But those cars tend to exhibit excessive body roll in the twisties.

I was going to mention that some people have tweaked those old Turbo Caravans to run 12's but I guess everyone knows that already.
