I got mine and I ordered a ebrake boot and a shift boot. The difference betweent the two boots is almost negligible. One has a sewn end on it and the other does not. And they are shaped slightly different...At first I thought they sent me two of the same thing.

No instructions on how to install either...? Since I have had the shift boot out I can figure that one out (once I figure out which one is the shift boot ) but would have liked to see how they "recommend" to install the ebrake boot.

If you HAVE it or just got it, I would like to hear some feedback.

Patience grasshoppa. I just got it today in the work UPS shipment..I have the bike at work so NO PICS FOR YOU!

The leather is NICE (thick and well sewn from what I can see). I think its even nicer than my "free" 2K2 bezel kit.

I did not get the 2K2 boot. I got the 2K1 boot because it will fit the stroke of my shifter. The under pinnings on the 2K2 is hard to describe but no holes like the 2K1. Kinda like a metal frame in plastic groves for install and it uses the original plastic **** and ring configuration for installation. So the metal frame "pinches" the leather for securing.

Now I just need instructions for installation of the ebrake boot!

 

Man they ripped you off! The 2K2 bezel ONLY comes with the boot, so they must have removed it before you got it. Was it already opened? It's GOOD quality and unless I was trying to match some other interior color(*cough**leather seats**cough*), I don't think it would be worth it for me.

Keep me posted on those pics anyways.

 

No no no no...I got the 2K2 from our buddy . It included the boot. This one is nicer. Less stiff and looks like leather (as I hope it is he he)

I got black all the way around. Did not want "frost"/"puddy" shift boot or ebrake cover..wanted to offset it. Once I am sure about the boot on the shifter, I will chuck the old one.
