Hmmmm. This poll isn't working out quite the way I thought it would. That's a sweet thing. How 'bout you, 2kSEgirl. Did you think it would turn out this way? Or were you betting that Maximas would win out over women/significant others?

hahahha it's not quite turning out the way i thought it would....i definitely thought the max would win but hey! i'd pick romance over a car any day too. BUT i think the true answer would come out if you asked yourself this: have you spent more money on mods or more money on nice gifts for your other??? hmmmm, something to think about eh?

hahahha can i be your second wife?
really though, i'm guessing that for those who are not married there will be quite a few who spend more on goodies for the car than the girl. and not that there's anything wrong with that! i spend way more on nice gifts for myself than my boyfriend! it's ok to admit it guys!!!!

i've been dating this girl for almost three years now. i used to spend money on her and whatnot, but realized it wasn't worth it. girls expect it if they get it all the time. she treats me the same now that she's used to not getting money spent on her all the time. and she gets upset when i say this, but i tell her the car is more important. i'm 19 - she's the most important person in my life, but at my age, i have to know where my priorities are. and besides, with cars, you always get out what you put in, with women - thats almost never true...
treat a car good and it'll treat ou good.
treat a woman good, she'll ask for more and could still stab you in the back.
and no, i haven't been really hurt before, but i know friends who have, and i know way too many women. and no offense against the fairer sex, i have met many incredible women who aren't like i've described above.

With your attitude, Ironlord, I wouldn't expect you to find one. Nor are you likely to be as lucky as I've been and remain married to the same incredible woman for over 26 years. FWIW, I wouldn't trade my wife for a fleet of Ferraris.
Good luck.

but i digress, this isn't really a maxima thread anymore. so lets just accept that different ages have different priorities (and should), and get back to ruminating over how awesome our Maximas are.
