HID color temp
HID color temp
Hey those of you with the 02 HIDs, what's the color temp of the OEM HID bulbs? I know the higher the color temp, the "brighter the light" but in the rain and fog, you want lower temps... I'm trying to figure out what to go with 4800, 7000 or 9000. I think 9000 is way too high, and 7000 is probably good for dry weather but might just scatter in rain. My el cheapo Eurolite H4s seem to disappear in rain. Good thing for OEM fogs... lights up road better.

Color temp has nothing to do with the brightness of the light.

I'll use the stock color temp/color as a guideline for choosing this dual mode (high/low) HIDs from SPW "HID Plus" kit. I'll probably just go with the 4800k kit.

Cool, although I thought that it goes higher then 9K, I believe I read about it here on the org.

Its takes alot to make them 9000k, and no way can be sold for $350 so you know they are lying, at most might be a 7200k.
