Water spots..can't get rid of them

I dry and dry and dry, at the wash, then when I get home I dry again, but everytime I go for a normal drive I always see another waterspot showing up.
Any suggestions. Majestic Blue is beautiful, but a PITA to take care of!

Do you mean like water spots coming from the side mirrors or on the paint itself everywhere?

You might want to wash, clay and do the wax and polish on your car. If you leave it parked outside, sometimes when sprinklers go on or even with the mist, it will just sit on you paint and kind of stay there. On my previous car though did the works clay and wax and all twice and they pretty much went away. THe polish and the wax is what did the trick, but if you are going to do that, you might as well clay the car.

I don't know about claying the car yet. It's only a month old. I already put a layer of Meguiars gold class on it. Maybe I should polish and wax again. I park indoors, so I am guessing this is just random moisture from the road drying on the car.

I had a Sterling Mist Y2K before, and I guess the water spots just belnded in to the color.

If you want, one of these days when we meet, it can be explained and shown. I know there have been many topics posted about claying. Personally, it was the best thing to happen to my car. It feels like the showroom car everytime I wash it.

Get Klasse

Mine is black, so I should know about waterspots... Get Klasse All-in-One and the Klasse Glaze and treat your Max with it. It's great stuff. Also, if you do not own a water softener, wash and dry your car in the shade (I do it in the garage). It will avoid standing water to dry up with the sunlight after washing, causing an excess of waterspots.

after washing my car, i had a problem with water spots on my windshield. these water spots wouldn't even come off after rubbing the windshield down with the absorber. only thing that worked was rain-x.

Use the CA Water Blade when you wash, that thing works great!

warm water helps too, with the waterblade and the chamois should do the trick...
sometimes i use paper towels to soak up water fron under the side mirrors in the little crease, and make sure you wipe down the door sills too, along with the actual door itself...
basically, if you can open something (door, trunk, gas lid), open it, and make sure it's dry under there.

use a leaf blower to blow out all the seams and cracks and then dry with the absorber

Chamois's suck. I used to use them, but decided to purchase an absorber after reading the Cleaning Your Max thread. Works much better than a chamois.

I have no problems with spots after I wash my Majestic Blue. I wash early in the morning before the sun has risen and dry it with an absorber. As I am washing I constantly wet down the whole car so it doesn't have a chance to dry. Then I dry it with the absorber. Voila a beautiful Max.

Water spots can be removed with white vinegar.
I take a cotton towel and wet it with the vinegar.
Then rub the water spots. This will not harm the paint.
I got this tip from Zaino Bros.
This works, I have a Merlot '01.
