I live in Astoria. There's a place right before the 59th Street Bridge on 21st Street that has a brushless option. They get some guys to wash it by hand and armorall. For 12 bucks it's worth it. If you want more details, PM me.

That totally sucks. I wash my car twice a week. I would go nuts. I would absolutely find a way to do it.

3 weeks ago i was going to wash mine on a saturday, like i have for all my cars. as i was about to get the hose out, i see a cop coming down the street and stop a few houses away, and gave this guy down the street a ticket for watering his lawn.

well...

I tried to wash my car while it was raining outside, I figure it would be safe with cops. But all the recent rain have been thunderstorms...I didn't want to take the chance.

I just check the drought status, NYC is still under drought warning.

Anywhere else in Queens?

NYC still has a ban on the usage of your hose except for watering plants, etc. I live in Douglaston, and there are tons of brushless carwashes out on Long Island. I would head out over there if I were you. I just wash my car at my firehouse whenever I want to. No one bothers me there
