Is it a good idea to get splash guards, or is it a waste of money? We have short winters here with not much snow, if that's what it's for...

If your car gets verty dirty in those areas then yes. It's not a waste of money, IMO. Also, it cuts washing time down a bit.

If you're planning on gettting the aero kit then no because it might leave marks on your car.

Definitely, get splash guards. It help prevents most rocks from kicking up from the tires and keeps the underbody cleaner.

I've got them. I think they look nice. They kind of break up the monotony of the bottom of the car. Of course you could do that with a stillen kit too. It does keep the car cleaner but don't expect it to be dirt free. They don't offer 100% protection. For under $100 they're a nice addition. Especially if you have a black car.

The first time you run over some sticky goo that splatters on your lower panels and that won't come off with a blow torch, you'll wish you had installed splash guards.

I have them on my Max and in the winter, the roads are wet from all of the rain that we have. In the long run, it saves the paint on your car and eases the effort you have to put into scrubbing the road tar and grime off your car.

it's all depend on where you live

when I was in school in Wisconsin... I had splash guard on my 96.. you just simply can't do without it... because they put so much salt and sand on the road... but since I moved to CA, on my 2000 I never thought of getting them because we have no snow or rain...

I got a set for SALE.

It is a good idea to have them as everyone
already told you. I had them on the car for
about 4 months before I got my Stillen Aero Kit
put on. Now they are I my trunk waiting for
someone like you to buy them. You will pay less
getting them from me then you will pay anywhere
else of course. Only asking $45.
If you are interested email me.

Hell of a deal

Thats a great price and they do add to the looks of the car if you don't plan on getting an aero kit

splash guards look good!

So I got my car lowered with the Eibachs and then put on the splash guards. With the Satin Blue- you really need those guards cuz otherwise it gets dirty real quick.

Looks good and makes the car look a little lower... They work pretty well and I guess for 49$ from the dealer they arent bad.

I put in just the back ones.

The first time you drive over a painted line, that is still wet, you'll be glad you have them, or sorry you don't. Same thing for a gravel road.
