Performance specs question..

Hey guys...I'm new here. I'm about to buy a new car, and I'm seriously considering at a Maxima GLE automatic. It's in my top 2 or 3.

Question: what's the 0-60 time for the '02-'03 Maxima GLE auotmatic?

Also, my commute is probably about to become a 1 hour each way ordeal. Is the Maxima GLE suited to make this more comfortable, efficient, etc? Anyone else have a commute like this?

This commute is the main reason I'm not looking at the SE...I'm afraid the stiffer suspension might not be conducive to long-term comfort. Is that concern misplaced?

Thanks, guys-

Clem

My SE is great on my 50 min commute. Its fun because its soft on the ride there and on the way home, you can drive the 6sp like a sports car. I wouldn't be concerned.

Dude do some searching and some reading! The 2002 auto's are running 14 second 1/4 miles bone stock. Thats quick! I have a GXE and commute everyday for 1hr+ in Hawaii and its a blast! Sure beats my civic with a twin plate clutch & lightened flywheel!

i know there will be much argument to this but IMO if ur gonna get auto, why not spend a little more to get the luxury of a GLE.

1hr approx commute with SE just fine

I have a 1+/- hour commute give or take time and traffic conditions to work each way and the SE suspension is just fine for me. Sure, if you commute involves and unusually high number of bumps your commute experience my seem harsher but I'm a lively cat. Love to drive and even in the worst bumper to bumper at times I never tire of the six. Maybe as I get older my legs will tire of clutch action but until then, you'll catch me on the six.

Enjoy!
