Performance specs question..

Hey guys...I'm new here. I'm about to buy a new car, and I'm seriously considering at a Maxima GLE automatic. It's in my top 2 or 3.

Question: what's the 0-60 time for the '02-'03 Maxima GLE auotmatic?

Also, my commute is probably about to become a 1 hour each way ordeal. Is the Maxima GLE suited to make this more comfortable, efficient, etc? Anyone else have a commute like this?

This commute is the main reason I'm not looking at the SE...I'm afraid the stiffer suspension might not be conducive to long-term comfort. Is that concern misplaced?

Thanks, guys-

Clem

My commute is about 25 minutes in my SE and it's not bad at all. I also just took a trip to San Antonio (2 hours) and it was comfortable. Do a search on Nissan paint (chips very easily) and Nissan customer service (it stinks) before you buy. This will help you to make an informed choice. The Max is, overall, a good car... not perfect, but very good.

There is relatively little difference between the GLE suspension and the SE suspension.

I love my Max. I'd buy the same car again.

I have a 2k2 GLE and i've been very happy with it the past year. The ride is one of the smoothest i've ever driven and there is plenty of room inside leg, shoulder, head...although i'm not too big myself.
If you get all the options, the heated seats and steering wheel come in REAL nice in the winter, if u live somewhere cold. Many other nice features too long to list. I would definetly recomend this car. PLus the power is nice too for a sedan.
