New 2K2 Door Lock Question

I just got a new 2K2 6 Speed SE and am really enjoying it so far. I do however have a question about the stock door locks. I can't bring myself to call it an alarm, but that's what I'm referring too.

Question is, when I lock the doors now, the horn beeps once. Is there a way to stop the horn from beeping? It's just kind of annoying.

Thanks.

Press on lock/unlock for around 5 seconds. That will disable the audible warnings.

yup i think it says on the back of the keypad. It just flashes without the loud beep, which i think is quite annoying.

keep in mind that if you turn the honk alert off... you will no longer have the *flash flash* when you unlock your doors. i prefer having it not honk so i gave up the flash on unlock.

Yeah... though at night the interior lights turn on so that's a good visual. But during the day it kinda gives me some form of paranoia especially when i'm out of sight from the car (Then again, i can always do the audible alarm again hehe)
