would the check engine light come on if
your battery is about to die?
my battery is dead and now its confirmed that
the battery is dead
my question is "would the check engine light comeon
if your bater is about to die?"

the question is......why did the light come on, what did it say?

If your battery went dead because the alternator was not putting out voltage, than yes it would.
