try to stop driving???

there is no way to make OD stop reading, since it's a digital one. If you do find someway to do it, it will put a log onto the ECU and next time you want something done from Nissan, they won't, cuz you have temper with the thing. plus it is ILLEGAL!!!!!

I KNOW IT CAN BE DONE - I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHICH SENSOR. I HAVE MY OWN SHOP - IF THE ECU DOES LOGG IT I HAVE THE SCANNER TO CLEAR THE CODE.

I believe this is what is known as "illegal". If you sell the car after doing that you can get in trouble for fraud. I think if you leave your car parked and take the bus the mileage on your car should quit rising.

Don't even think about pulling that SH*T!

I have almost 30K miles on mine and it's only a year old but I'm not even thinking about the milage.

You drove it. Be an adult and F'in deal with it!

The nerve of some people!!! That's just like posting a message here asking "how do I defeat the security system so I can steal my friends Maxima?"

Nobody here is going to help you.

Remind me never to go to your shop if that's the kind of ethics you have.

U can try driveing in reverse.
Dude this reminds me of a 1992 Mazda MX6 Turbo. Red, clean outside, Inside Looked like someone lived in the car. Sunroof button was busted. ODO Read 18K miles. and that was 018xxx ...
Dude this has come up before, don't think anyone here will post it. Call the dealer they might know

As far as driving in reverse...

Ferris Bueler (sp?) tried it back in the 80s and it didn't work. Good idea though!
