Anyone knows how can I get my old shift *** off? I just found 2 holes at the back of it, and it could be moved up and down. that's it!

Are you talking about an Auto or Manual? What year?

 

Sounds like an auto. If so, the OD wire is probably holding it down a bit. You'll have to address the OD wire before it will come completely off. I am going to guess it is pre 2k2 since the 2k2's are all screw on/off type.
