Ok, how does the A-Pillar attach? pop clips? 'hook' style clips?

does it deform the clips much?

shouldn't

carefully start pulling away the a-pillar from the top, work you way down. if you have to use extreme force then snap everything back in and start over. so you don't break something. once all clips are popped off then the a pillar would dangle. pull the whole thing upwards and out.. it should be fine. install in reverse order.

if you break something that's not my falt, all of the above are just from personal experience. worked for me may not work for you
