with nissan youre getting genuine nissan OEM parts. the "other" brake shops will usually be putting in cheap aftermarket pads, etc. if you go with the latter, you'll need new brakes in about 4-5 months again!

if dealerprice is too much, try to ask other shops how much it would costs for oem pads installed. it'll be more expensive but may be cheaper than dealer price.

to save the most money, buy the brake pads from some of nissan dealerships on the .org like matt @ tustin nissan. he will give you a discount and ship the parts out to you right away. then just have these put in where you'd like, they wont charge too much since you already got the pads.

fyi: cheap aftermarket pads tend to cause low speed squeel in the brakes. i know, i had to live with it for 5 months until the cheapies wore out. i shelled out the $150, hit the dealership and had OEM brakes put in last week. no more squeel!!!

good luck.

IMO learn how to change them yourself. Buy AXXIS metal masters for under a $100, and use the $100 you save to buy a mod
