I just got my Eibachs and after looking at them and reading the notes I have some questions...

1) The front(bigger) springs don't seem to be progressively wound unlike the smaller rear springs, is it suppost to be that way - the fronts are just stiffer and the rears are progressive?

2) I the application note it says that you are suppost to cut the "bump stopper"(I dont have the paper with me so the name might be a little off) by a specific amount depending on you car make, for the Max I think it was around 20mm, can anyone tell me what this modification does/what is it for?

Thanks.

p.s. Is there a trick to getting the headlight bulbs out to replace them with H4s, I tried squizing the connector (with minimal force)like it said in the manual but it didn't come of and I don't want to force it because I might break someting, any thoughts/suggestions?

About the H4s.

I removed the rubber cover from the rear of the bulb and just slowly started pullign out the connector, it came out pretty easy. Don't force anything..

The bump stop is in your strut assembly. It's orange/white (don't remember which one) and has 2 grooves (3 sections). It's some sort of foamy/rubbery material. Cut off one section (the bottom part) so you don't bottom out if you turn too hard.

The rears are different. You'll have to cut the boot and take out a section (black thing that covers your shock. Cutting the boot/cover will give you two pieces. Just slide them back on your shock when you reinstall it.

When removing the headlights you have to squeeze the connector together and kind of pull it at the same time....Its a pain in the *** though
