I am in need of a cheap VQ35de engine that is in relatively good shape, no accessories, or wiring harness needed, since i already have a megasquirt setup that has the wiring harness etc... . and help would be greatly appreciated.

just to clarify, when I say cheap I mean < or = $1000us. I am in pretty urgent need of on of these engines so any help on locating one is also very much appreciated.

 

I have an '04 VQ35 with less than 1400 original miles on it sitting on a stand in my garage.... but it might be a few $$ out of your price range.

$1200 with a brand new 2004 harness and AT ECU, or $1100 without.
It has a pathfinder throttle body, and the intake manifold has been polished and tapped for additional injectors or water injection (can easily be plugged). The only flaws are (1) one of the valve covers got damaged when the engine was removed and (2) the oil pan has been modified.

Actually, if you're still looking, my 1400-mile engine is now available as a longblock (no wiring, TB, ECU) for $725 (eBay listing will appear tonight).
It might be a stretch to get it shipped to up to you for only $275, though.

So far the best freight quotes I've received are close to the cost of the engine (some are more).
