FS: 6th Gen leather door panels + trim (replace your suede)
FOR SALE: Leather kit that replaces the suede "jogging suit" material for the 6th Gen Maxima. I intended to install them but I sold the car instead.
This kit is manufactured by Classic Softrim and is unused. Designed to match a "silver frost" interior, I also think it would look awesome against a black interior creating a two-tone look.
The kit includes:
-4 large panels (one for each door)
-2 dash trim panels (for the upper dash)
-center console armrest cover (this is left over from my cloth to leather conversion)
Any upholstery shop should be able to install these for you no problem.
$90 shipped with insurance. This is a good deal.
Check my Ebay ID 'Bag302'.
If interested, please email me at JASimone22@msn.com. Thanks!

I spoke to them today and was given a ballpark figure of 400 to 500 dollars for the install. He wants me to come over to look at the dash, than he will give me the total price.

I had all of my seats done and the labor was $300 from a CST shop.

The door panels have to be taken apart to install those door inserts. The inserts would be glued to the suede then the door panels would be put back together with some trim screws. The dash trim just pops right off and it's pretty easy to wrap...some glue is applied to the original trim peices as well. It is a good deal of work but, that quote is denfinitely high.

Taking the door panels off for them will cut down on labor but, it's actually taking the door panel apart that is time consuming. Seperating the door panel will require some grinding with a die grinder tool. The original material is left in place and the contact cement is then sprayed onto the back side of the new leather and the oe material. Let it get tacky and then apply the leather to panel. All that is left is putting the door panel back together with some trim screws.
