i have the same headers on my 6th gen 5 spd. I didn't shave the starter and I just shaved the flange. There one of my favorite mods to this day. : )

is the y-pipe included with the headers? being that its for the altima, how will it work on our 6th gen maximas?

 

The y-pipe will be included.
