FS: 07.08 Exhaust Manifolds W/Cat's. AND Complete engine

I have A set of exhaust manifolds pulled from a 20K car, with the catalytic converters. $200 for all of it (for pickup). I will ship at your cost. Looks like this will fit 06-08 Maxima..

The rest of the engine is on Ebay;

Why not try to fix this engine, besides the oil pump is mechanical. If all the seals leading from the oil pump are good and you actually had the proper lever of oil in there, i see no way of the engine having such low oil pressure unless the sensor/readout is faulty, less the oil pump visibly had issued in it.

I tried to fix the last engine, (same problem) and had no luck. Maybe it could be fixed, I am just too frustrated to mess with it at this point.

I believe I have a similar issue and the problem is the o-rings that are between the block and inner timing chain cover. However, I've not yet torn down the engine.

MarcL May 29, 2012 10:42 PM

Either way, the engine and other parts are all still available.

MarcL Aug 3, 2012 08:31 AM

Everything is still for sale.. The engine did not sell on Ebay, so if no one wants a complete engine I will part it out.

Let me know what you need!

2kayznmaxima Aug 9, 2012 12:56 PM

how much for the engine?

MarcL Aug 9, 2012 07:44 PM

At this point, I'd consider any reasonable offer.

VQ'rInWLA Aug 11, 2012 03:56 AM

Subd in case you decide to part engine out.

VQ'rInWLA Aug 11, 2012 03:58 AM

Also, have pics of it? Wanna see what I can make use of.

I am just about ready to do that.. What do you need?

VQ'rInWLA Aug 11, 2012 05:22 AM

Front and rear valve covers. Also, can you snap a pic of the whole coolant log from different angles? And be sure to include both sensors on it pls. Still thinking of what else I can use...

MarcL Aug 11, 2012 05:25 AM

I will be at the shop today.. I may have some of those parts from a previous motor.

Coolant Log? I assume those are the solid pipes bolted to the engine? I will get some photos today of the other one I have (not on this engine).

VQ'rInWLA Aug 11, 2012 05:27 AM

Ok. Ill need em for an 04+. Looking for the replaceable guide tube seals unlike the first generation 3.5's

VQ'rInWLA Aug 11, 2012 05:29 AM

Coolant log and rail are the pipes on the front of the motor. Theres two sensors on the drivers side where the pipe runs right below the front valve cover.

MarcL Aug 12, 2012 05:44 AM

I have the coolant pipe that goes between the head.. is that what you are asking about? The other pipes that wrap around from the back of the engine to the front are on the complete engine I have, but I think I tossed out the other ones I had... but I don't see any sensors in those pipes, so I don't think that is what you are asking for?

If you want a photo of the pipe between the heads, I have that. PM me your direct email address and I can send it.

VQ'rInWLA Aug 12, 2012 02:44 PM

I just pulled them from a jy yesterday. But Im still very interested in the 6th gen valve covers. LMK as soon as you can

Goodspeed91 Jul 3, 2013 11:01 PM

Still have the cats?

MarcL Jul 4, 2013 06:23 AM

Cats are gone, sorry..

Plenty of other engine parts though! :)

justin2386 Jul 8, 2013 12:10 PM

EVAP purge valve!! need that asap!
bolted to side of intake..has a blue plug connected and two hoses, one goes to the intake elbow right behind the throttle body

MarcL Jul 9, 2013 06:13 AM

I will check and see if I have it this weekend.

justin2386 Jul 9, 2013 07:56 AM

thanks

MarcL Jul 31, 2013 11:43 AM

What the heck, might as well bump this again.. Still have lots of parts.

justin2386 Aug 1, 2013 10:35 AM

Check that part for me?

MarcL Aug 1, 2013 08:43 PM

Forgot all about it.. and I was just at the shop tonight. I will be back there this weekend and look for it. Not exactly sure what I am looking for though!

justin2386 Aug 2, 2013 02:04 PM

i can text you a pic if youd like?

MarcL Aug 5, 2013 06:24 AM

I don't have MMS, but if you have a link to a photo that would be helpful.. I was going to look it up in the FSM.

justin2386 Aug 13, 2013 08:04 AM

In that picture how its oriented its at the top of the intake, just to the right of the throttle body, has the short hose with that little black canister thing attached to it..I just need that, don't need any of the hoses or anything that attach to it

justin2386 Aug 13, 2013 08:05 AM

Might need the cats too..might have blown mine apart the other day, waiting to hear back from the shop now

MarcL Aug 13, 2013 09:37 AM

Cat's are gone.. Ended up selling them to a scrap metal place.

This engine came out of a 2007 or 2008 Maxima, and based on the Nissan parts manual this valve got a new part number in 2005.. Based on that, I would assume the one I have would work properly 2006+, and some 2005... (just making sure this will work for you).

justin2386 Aug 14, 2013 07:01 AM

I have an 06
