Infiniti I?

Do you think Nissan will discontinue the I when the sixth generation Maxima arrives? If the I remains, do you think it will be Maxima-based?

Don't know if there will be a new I35 replacement, but if the dealer by me is any indication, Infiniti dealers may have lots of leftover '03's to sell for a long while. yips!

I cant remeber what magazine i read it in, but i did recently read an article that said the I35 would be redesigned along with the 2K4 MAX.

i heard they were going to drop it because the g35 is so closely priced and they don't want cars competing against one another. That's why this Maxima is bigger to stay away from Altima sales. G35 Sedan will be the replacement for the I35. My Guess.

as far as sports sedans go the G35 is nearly the standard now( for base under 30k). If i had to pick I35 or G35, i would def get the G, compaired to the G then I isnt 2 sporty. I would suspect the I35 will be no more.

The G35 replaced the G20. If Infiniti follows suit with Nissan, the replacement "I" will not compete with the G35, just as the new Maxima will not compete with the Altima.
