Rear Drive? Is this a mistake?
MotorWeek claims that the new Maxima will be rear drive. But since they erred by referring to it as an '03 instead of an '04, I'm thinking they don't know what they're talking (writing) about. Anybody think different?

I thought it was going to be RWD too. I just got my new Car & Driver magazine. One of the things they complain about is the torque steer....wait a minute? Torque steer? - it IS FWD!
I'd rather it be RWD but since I've only made one payment on my 2k2 I won't be trading up anytime soon anyways.

I don't think so.
I didn't see any rear axles at the show:

Yup. MotorWeek. It covered the Detroit autoshow in that episode. When it showed the introduction of the 6th gen Maxima Motorweek said RWD. Ooops I think they even did it twice because they covered the auto show in 2 episodes.
