04' max spotted
04' max spotted
FYI I posted this on altimas.net figured I'd share here too
On my way back from breakfast this morining @ the Cracker Barrel in Southhaven MS. I saw an 04' Maxima 3.5SL with what appeard to be a family in it driving by. Are these for sale or could it be a test car for a magazine or Nissan Exec, the car had mississippi tags and was a dark blue color similar to if not darker than the majestic blue that the 03's are offered in.
anybody else seen one?
<edit> this was right off of I 55 near the Ms - Tn boarder and I know nissan has that new plant in central MS and we all know Altimas are built in Smyrna TN ~ 3hr from Memphis
</edit>

It could have been a test model, the '04 Maximas are built in Smyrna as well. Who knows, I want to see one in person, some people on here say they're better in person than in pictures.
it does look like the Altima but if you sit em right next to each other I think the maxima distinguishes itself as the classier model and the based on the pictures of the interior (by no means a strong point on the 3rd gen Alti) the new Max will be a hands down winner. What I'm confused un is who wil but a loaded Alti for 27k+ if the new max will start @ 28k but I'm sure the guys @ nissan will figure that out; Offer more stripped SE Alti's, lower pricing or something
