Notice that fine looking silvery material covering the centre stack? My 1988 GL has the same thing. I wish I could find some pics to show the comparison.

Yeah, I've thought the same thing. But I always liked that look. It will be interesting to see if this wears better over time than that of the 2nd gen. When I was shopping used maximas years ago, alot of them had some warping and didn't look so hot.

I think this new interior is awesome in person. I hated it in pictures. You gotta sit in one and touch it. It is first class.

how is the gap and wasted space in real life?
i mean it could look nice but seroiusly Motortrednd said that it looked like "mardi gras" in comparison to an audi interior (which is very nice)
