I saw several '04 Maximas at the Carson, CA HQ's. They sure are different. Kind of a Maxima/Altima on steroids.

 

I went to look at them last night. The dealer had two 04's next to an 03. They looked sportier than the 03. I like the look, but the front grill might take some getting used to. The salesman asked me what I drove and I told hime a 96 Maxima. He asked if I would like to trade it in for the 04, to which I replied "no way, I really like my car, and I plan on keeping it for a while". Maybe I will take one for a test drive, the guy asked but I told him that I did not have the time. The black 2004 SE I saw was pretty tight though.

 

that sunroof is kind of funky too.. i'd get one in a new york minute... it even has a stock stainless dash kit

 

I went and looked at them today at the local lot and in white and silver I wan''t feeling it too much, but the black on they had was the shizznit!! With the chrome trim it has running from the trnk up over the top to the windshield, man it is tight. I also and not feeling the skyview roof. I totally would drive one. I would trade up my '00 Black SE for an "04 Black SE in a heartbeat.

 

its growing on me but i would definitely avoid the skyroof since it doesnt open
nissan says most people dont open it but they do sometimes
and with a normal sunroof u can avoid having the feeling that says u wish that ******* thing would open
