My Red is coming

Mine will be at the dealer Wed...pick it up Friday. I went nuts trying to decide between Black/Frost and Red/Black. Black is Black, you know what to expect...great clean...shows dust/swirls. Red is not such a clear choice, since so many variations exist...all the way from Maroon to almost orange. I think this Opulance Red is "Right On" for the Maxima...much more so than Altima due to the funky clear Tail Lenses on the Altima.
So, the dealer was doing some trading to get me a car, so I let fate decide. Both combo's were hard to find. But...Red it is!
By the way....I do think the Maxima warrants some "premium colors" over the Altima. If you look at the paint chips, the color codes are the same, but the description is different. But...I suppose they share the same paint booth in Tn.

So...looking forward to SE, Auto, Red/Black with Journey and Sun Roof. (just hope my sun roof don't leak!)

Still wish I knew what dealer cost was on a 7/72 Nissan Warranty!

Do not buy a dealer warranty

Do not buy a warranty from the dealer as they are a rip-off and you can get a better deal from 1 Source Auto Warranty.

Check out this site for more information regarding auto warranties in general How to buy an extended auto warranty.

I recieved a quote from them yesterday for $724 that covers 7 years or 100,000 miles. It also covers the windshield, emissions system and tire/wheel damage. Give them a call.

Their parent company is First Assured Warranty Corporation. Check this out as well...Why buy online?.

I have checked up on this company and it is a much better deal as you can take your vehicle to any ASE certified location (even the dealer) and this warranty is transferable if you sell the car.
