Project MAXIMA update

Well i'll have to tease you with this one picture of my Maxima Demo/project.

Now sporting 15% tint on the rear plus sunroof, and 35% front so i can look as old as i feel to the cops on the road.

New 19 x 8 inch ROH brand "FURY" wheels in a new finnish called " Shadow Chrome" my buddies at autotrends.com got them for me. Our 350Z importlife.com car has Toyo's so they had Autotrends hook up the Radient Ember Maxima with 245-40-19 Toyo T1-S Tires. ( after 1100 miles on the car, then the last 275 miles on the Toyo's i can say. WOW great tire.) the whole pjoject will be available soon. Smithtown Nissan will launch a new Web project soon. More about that later.

Don't really think those wheels go at all with the car... looks like 19s may even look a little small on that monster.

they 19's feel BIG. after three years in my 1999 SE-Limited, tow of which i had the stock 16 inch wheels, then the 17's i got from an 02 Altima SE. these are wonderfull. I put 1000 or so miles on the 18's, then BANG the 19's arrive.

as for the grille , it's comming

Well, im not entirely sure what kind of max you're trying to build, but i know that wheels make a car. Those wheels don't make your max a sport sedan, they make it an orange and chrome blingy family car. No mods can change that.

BTW, no offense.

Bluefish,
What's up? Your new ride looks sweet!!!
Can you please provide some info on the Island Fest Import
Show on June 1, 2003. Might be interested in attending, but
this is the first I've heard of it.
Thanks,Russ
Bye the way,you know me, I leased my in-laws '01 Altima
from you. Moises thought you, shall we say, made off with
what should have been his transaction! But that wasn't the
case.

Bull Jive: I was wondering if your got your rims from www.wheelmax.com. They look really similar to the ZEO-BZ-11 (Silver) or (Chrome). Im guessing 20'S. I have the ZEO-BZ-11 20's in and put them on my 00 Sunlit Sand max it is like the perfect rim. I really get some nice compliments and I am positive you do as well I think those rims look perfect on your max. I think your car is pretty bad A$$ keep it up. Did you drop the max any, if u did how much of a drop, and what kind of springs did you use? I now decided to add a new toy to my rims a spinner kit hopefully no later than the end of June I'll keep you updated. Well anyways sorry so long i havent ever seen anyone with rims that look so similar if not the same kind have a good day

Later,
Peyton

And i read the maxima.org sticker on the side...I got my 5th gen little over a month ago, and before I got it, I remebered your car said maxima.org, thats what got me to the site heh, small world. pretty cool later man

Bye Bye 04 Maxima

well with the hottest car in the market selling out everywhere, and the hail storm creating havok with delaerships on the east coast. it was not going to be long before someone came into smithtown nissan and saw my car and had to have it. last saturday a guy up from florida saw it on the lot and said he would be back in a week to take it home. dame i only got 2300 mile out of my 7000 demo miles allowed. it's went this morning to sunny florida, full msrp plus $ 3000. for the wheels tires, and tint set-up.

wheels and all... i will build another in july when inventoy levels begin to rise.

I now cruise around in a 2003 Nissan Murano SE, silver/Black/Loaded and we are mounting 20 x 8.5 Konig Appeal's with 265-50-20 toyo's today...

I miss my maxmia

you guys gotta be the only Nissan dealership in NY that allows dealer cars to be upgraded like that.... When I brought my 02 Altima 2.5 in to Biener Nissan in Great Neck to be traded in on an 03 Maxima, the dealer looked at me as to why I put on 17" OEM 02 Maxima SE rims on an altima....

I would just like to express how envious I am of Bluefish's job. Almost makes me want to drop everything and set out to find myself a job selling cars. I think I might be good at it; if I grew 4 inches and somehow aged in appearance about 8 years, I could make a killing.

thanks, i really do LOVE my job. the dealership i work for is the best in the Northeast for customer service. Helping car people and building relationships is also great.

i have alwayse been a "car guy", i never thought i would be this happy selling cars. but fate has a way of putting you in a position to succeed.

do what you love, money will follow.
