Braking?? of new Max

I am a newbie in the market for a 04 Maxima for my wife.
It will also be our primary road trip car.
Most car mags show mediocre (at best) stopping distances.
C&D shows 197 feet from 70-0.
A Ford Expedition outbrakes it at 196 feet!

Any thoughts?
What do you guys/gals think of the brakes on your new max?

Thanks!

LOL

I haven't had any issues, it stops faster than my Excursion did.

Yea, but repacking the parachute on the Expedition after every 'hard' stop isn't an attractive selling point.

My Excursion was sweet, and a V10 will produce some get up and go... especially when it comes up behind you on the highway '

Ok, so the engine cut out at 100, but you don't want an 8000 pound truck going too much faster than that.
