With that thinking, any mods for a 5th gen would work

No not really, I think he was comparing engine parts since the 350Z, 5th/6th gen Max share the same engine.

Talk about a broken sarcasm meter I was being facetious.

I'm pretty sure the intakes available for the Z won't fit the 04 Maxima due to the fact that the engines sit differently (horizontal vs. longitudinal). Internals are likely to be swappable, but bolt-ons such as intakes, headers, etc probaly won't.

The CAI (Cold Air Intake) will not fit in the '04 Maxima... but the regular one (as seen in my profile) fits just fine.

The Unorthodox Racing Pulley for the 350Z should also fit the '04 Max... my friend at the garage and I are still trying to verify it for sure, but it sure looks like it would fit just fine.

You could always call DaveB and have him check the part numbers between the pulleys for the 6th gen, 5th gen, 350z, and Altima. Also, it wouldn't be a bad idea to check the part numbers for the struts/springs between the 6th gen and earlier gens, as well as the Altima, since it now shares the same platform.

I think he's already done alot of the research, but I haven't seen his responses.

My 04 just reachedd 3500 miles and is still getting faster as I drive it. I'll have it dyno'd around 5000 miles or so.
