Nissan

Ok, this is a bit off topic but I wanted to post it here because Io know most of the people that frequent this area better than those that don't.

Does anyone own a small pickup? I am looking to pickup a small pickup/beater and I was wondering what everyones experience was with them. I don't have a make/model in mind, but I am not opposed to a Nissan, anyone have one?

I am looking for something cheap ($1-3K) that will spend the majority of the time in the garage.

BTW, did you know that the 04 Max has an annoying Trunk Open warning message that flashes on the LCD and beeps when you start and stop. I bought a new home gym that was hanging out of the trunk and that is half the reason that I need a truck. I miss the Excursion, I could fit anything in that...

Thanks for the info

Grant

Try looking for Nissan Hardbody pickups (what they were called before the name changed to Frontier). They are very reliable and fun to drive.

They are also affectionately called Nissan Mini's

You can also do a SR20DET swap into that sucker

i have a 99 chevy s-10 extended bed. sucker looks funny cause it has a 7 foot bed and no extended cab but anyway it is semi-reliable now that we got the torque converter changed. but you cant go wrong with a nissan or toyota truck because they just never die.

Re: Nissan

Have you considered getting a 4x8 utility trailer? Of course it means you have to install a hitch. I think they make some pretty good hidden hitches nowadays. I had one on my '97 Max that I used for years.

I thought about that, but I really don’t want a hitch on the Max and I want this to be available for my friends and family to use as well, and I won’t be lending them the Max
