STILL NEEDED: 2004 Maxima for Free Intake

We are still in need of a 2004 Maxima in the Northeast to prototype a frankencar intake on. All you have to do is come out to our shop and we will make an intake. Shouldn't take more then 1-2 hours. We are located in Palmer, MA. If you are intersted please contact me. Thank you. the pipe will be powdercoated after we get the specs and have them made, couple weeks tops. the 2002-2003 intake might even fit and we don't know. if that is the case then you would leave with a powdercoated one.

and guys, please don't make this thread into a flame war again, thanks.

I am surprised that no one is taking you up on this, if I was in the area I would, but I am in Arizona...

I know Yanke is in CT.

I am interested. I live in NY, however I come up to Waltham often. Please send me an e-mail with information. I have an 04 6 Speed with custom exhaust from Cat back, I need an intake for the car. Also open to suspension work (heating of front springs to lower 1 inch) tullio_siragusa@yahoo.com

Do you have any pics of the custom exhaust , are you still using 4 pipes style?

Thanks.

OT but on your websight it once said that the franken intakes out perform the Stillen by a couple of horsepower "as seen on maxima.org." The link provided only took me to the .org's home page, could you show me the two dyno graphs?

i think we have someone coming to the meet to prototype the intake, i'm pretty sure they will fit no problem and then we will update the page and have it ready to order for you guys.

and the dyno's were performed by Emax, the threads are from some time ago and i can't locate them but he has the graphs somewhere.

I think extra gains come from addition of midpipe which gives you straight flow, compared to Stillen Hi-Flow intake which doesn't use midpipe between TB and cone filter.

That's what I want to see, the difference the midpipe makes.

I have a question about this though, and please excuse my ignorance on the subject, I know of the products but I have never used them myself in the past.

If you put on the intake don't you lose the cold air induction?

And if that is true, do you gain that much if any? Is there a cold air induction that works with this to help get those HPs back?

Thanks

Grant
