My coworker has a 04 maxima SL, I have been begging home to go to the track, but he keeps coming with excuses. He is member here, so if he reads this stop being a P@##$ that you are. You have more hp, torque then me but scared to race me

Well lemme state some things that i have kinda put together base on one race and my old car. my prelude ran mid to low 14s and i raced my friends truck which i use to beat pretty badly in prelude. the maxima still beat him but not by as much. plus i had 2 people with me, full tank, and some golf clubs in the trunk. anyways I know the car can do better than a 15.0 thats all im saying because the last thread i gave my opinion in, people started saying i was BS for thinking i could estimate 1/4 times when i was simply stating what i THOUGHT.

That is basically what I said in an earlier post. I am trying to get my coworker to go to the track this Wednesday night.

I don't understand why there hasn't been any track times yet. There is plenty of curiosity, but no confirmations....

yea tell me about it......I dont understand it either. Guess this 6th gen crowd is "more refined" and not interested in races/speed.......

se 6 speed. I live in texas though so i doubt it will be alright. our temp is usually 97-102 everyday. but i will most likely run at night so hopefully the weather will be in the 70s.

I came to this thread thinking "Man, there are 14 posts, someone will have times by now." I read it from top to bottom, not looking at how close the scroll bar was getting to the bottom of the page, and I kept saying, "Ok, this next one is gonna be it."

And then I cried.

the reason i dont go is the spec v is mine and the 04 max is my fathers. im 25 but im still not sure if my father wants me to take his brand new car to the track.. he said he would think about it.. he loves to race but doesnt feel like driving almost three hours to see what times it runs.. he said "i toasted your spec v and u run mid to low 15s when u run" so its faster than that lol.. and he hasent raced my bro in his 03 acura cl type s yet but my brother says he thinks the max is faster... and my brother stock on a 93 degree day and high humidity ran 14.8s with his acura,
