If you don't have the VDC, you don't have traction control. At least that's what I was told by a salesman this weekend.

If you have VDC, then you will have a VDC Off Button to the left of your steering wheel, around where the heated steering wheel/side mirrors open/close buttons are. Otherwise, no you don't have traction control.

VDC/Traction control is one single package. You cannot have one without the other (unfortunately). If you did not get the VDC option with your car, you do not have traction control.

Yes, 900 dollars for VDC and the full size spare (because donuts suck). And yes, I have it.

hmm...not sure what you mean about the combo above, but i have no VDC. the empty spot is there for the button next to heated steering wheel button, but mine came with a full SIZE SPARE.

I believe they all come with a full size spare due to the large brake calipers in the front. A 17" wheel is the smallest that will fit on the front of the vehicle. Perhaps the full size spare is an OE alloy wheel and tire, not just a steel rim and narrower tire? Though I doubt that. Probably just a marketing ploy saying "Full Size Spare" when they all get one.

Tires
P225/55R17 (SL)
P245/45R18 (SE)

Spare tire
Temporary T145/80*17 or 18
Full size 17" or 18"

The really full spare tire that come with the VDC (no separate button for Traction Control, just the VDC button) is the same stock tires that you take delivery.
