Is the procedure for resetting the idiot light (aka Service Engine Soon) on a 6th gen the same as the 5th or 4th gen?

Mine came on after I didn't put the gas cap on tight and it doesn't want to go away.

You can unplug the battery and leave it sitting overnight and it might reset it, Or it shouldn't be too much trouble for the dealer to reset it without charge.

 

I came across the reset procedure for the G35 and 350z on TechnoSquare's website. Not sure if it's the same procedure, but I'd give it a try, here is a direct link...
