Any smokers out there?

Just curious how many cigarette smokers out there were in their 04's. I am a smoker, but I have decided NOT to smoke in the car. If I really need one badly, I will just pull over and get out and enjoy my smoke.

Just curious what others do.

This reminds me of one of the funniest/truest anti-smoking commercials I've ever seen.

They show a guy smoking in the car, but with the window down, cigarette out the window, and his head half out the window to blow the smoke out. Obviously because he doesn't want his car smelling like smoke,ect...

And then the letters pop up on the screen saying, "Well at least his car won't get cancer."

lol, i just thought it was funny, especially since i am so anti-smoking (dont flame me plz )

I suppose you are right, if you don't care what it does to your body, why would you care if it ruins your car...

Nah...thats not true...well at least at Carmax. Smokers cars have the same value as a non smokers car would. Im most cases, we can get the smoke smell down at the clients request. But this statement only applies to Carmax cars, as I do not know how other dealers price their cars.

I remember when I was younger I bought an 89 Grand Prix SE, which was a pretty fun car for an 18 year old. The week I bought it, I was leaning over and talking to someone outside of the passenger window, and the head of my cigarette fell on the seat and burnt a nice hole in it... I was ****ed

Settle down now, why don't you try reading the entire thread. But I will bite anyway. I assume you do know that alcohol has benefits when taken in moderation. Since you are comparing it to cigarettes, does this mean that they have benefits too? Why don't you enlighten us on what those may be.

No benefit for smoking, whatsoever!!

I would never consider alcohol a health product, unless we are talking about a glass of red wine to help one's heart.

I guess the point I was 'trying' to make is that there are a lot of folks who critize people who smoke as the swallow a 'Big Mac'!!

BTW, nice car!
It looks like you have the 4 bucket seats option, Cool!

I know of this lady who died from long term exposure to second hand smoking. I myself, am allergic to cigarettes and go to itching when I'm around the smoke they produce...but to add to what everyone else is saying...everything, in one way or another can be bad for your health. From drinking, to smoking, to staying up late at night. But then again, thats just my .02 cents

With most smokers just flicking their butts out the window anyway, why do they need an ashtray?

Volvo sells cars without ashtrays (unless requested as an option) because they are in the market to save lives, not take them. And I have only used my interior ashtray like 3 times, and I smoke in my car.

Many people dont know my car is a smokers car, just dont smoke with the windows up and on a really hot day (when parked) let the windows be a little bit open so that the smell / smoke doesnt bake into the interior.
