I haven't noticed it. But thanks for pointing it out. I guess we'll have something new to obsess over now.

 

NOt sure if it is the same noise or not. I do not hear it on my '03 Altima but on our '04 Maxima, I do hear a strange noise from the tires. The best way I can explain it is to tap on the tread portion of the tire right on the center tread with a little hammer. It makes the same exact sound except not as sharp. I was assuming it was the wide tires hitting road imperfections causing the tire to sort of echo
