J.D Power pick 2004 Maxima

J.D. Power pick 2004 Maxima as one of the most loved car in their APEAL test of the owners. The Maxima was picked under the category of Premium Midsize car. Any comment?

That isn't true at all. A small fraction have issues, and you hear that more than those that have no issues. I love my Max

I filled out one of the JD Powers survey's for my 04. I gave it above average marks in almost every category. The darn thing took me 15-20 minutes to fill out. It was quite detailed.

Sending my survey out tomorrow from JD Power (thanks for the crisp $1 bill). Very detailed. An entire two pages concerning problems with the car. Luckily the only complaint I had was the breaks squealing once in a great while though I have yet to deduce that the noise is eminating from my car and not all the junkers around me.

By the way, traveled up I-476 (in Pennsylvania for those of you not in the tri-state area) Saturday at around 5 p.m. and met a black '04 Maxima along the way. Nice driving, but 100 is my limit. I may have lost, but I can guarantee my insurance is lower.

You won't see me complaining about my '04 which I love even more than my '91 and '00. So far most of the griping seems to be from those yet to drive or own an '04.

The small adjustments required were remedied at the dealer, but that was all. Also glad to see there must not have been a fire sale on '04s as they are not appearing a dime a dozen on the freeways here.

they are probably basing it on the Car company "Acura" vs Nissan, definately not price because we know the Max typically cost more.
