The price is still very negitiable...You can even save some money on Hold Back Which is paid to the dealer by Nissan for teh amount of time the car sits on their lots. I will advise you that the wait time is a bit. I have been waiting for 10 weeks for my custom order! It will arrive on the 3 rd of NOV! Good Luck and remeber dont settle for a price make sure you get what you want!

Not sure what specifically you are looking for, but ask the dealer if they would be willing to trade with any other dealers in the area that might have the model you want. I wanted a Radiant Ember with the Burnt Orange interior and the closest dealer that had one was in Conn. over 200 miles away. But they traded cars, and I was still able to negotiate the price down once the car had arrived on the lot.

When you order a car, it is much easier to get a better deal, then if you buy off the lot. Reason being, there is almost NO cost to the dealer. They just fill out the forms, and get you your car. They don't have to worry about 30,000 bucks sitting on their lot, hoping to sell. They don't need to advertise it. They don't need to wash or maintain it. Since, it wasn't somethign they expected to sale, they are happy with almost any deal that covers their costs.

Getting them to trade with another dealer is hard. (a lot of the time the dealerships don't get along too well ) Getting them to search for a car isn't as hard, yet, the deal isn't as good. Since they have to cover the orginal dealers expenses, and their own.

If you can wait the 2-3 months for the order, you probably won't have to pay much more then 500 dollars over invoice, in even the most expensive market.

A lot of sales men will try to tell you that they can't work with you on the cost of the car if you order it. They say this because they won't get paid on it until you actually drive it away, so they want you to buy something that day.
