How different are 6th gen. HID's?

How different are 6th gen. HID's?

I've seen some 04's on the roadway at night and i really like their HIDs, what makes them look so much diffrent then are HIDs?

Probable they are higher up on the Kelvin chart.
I agree they look more purplish than ours.

'04 Maximas have projector housing which is why the light looks different. I believe it is the same intensity as 02/03.

That's correct. The projectors look a lot nicer but are the same temperature rating.

Pls don't make the 6th gen guys with HIDs nervous, as some of us 02/03 owners have complained about 00/01 guys stealing our HIDs :-)

I can't believe this thread is about the 6th gen. As you see, all posters (so far) are 5th gen/03 owners.

yeah true, but as u can see, some of us 5th generations owners are interested in the 04 lights, just to see how differen't they ar then ares

Yeah I like my HIDs too. My girlfriend has an 02 and they have a real blue tint to em which isnt bad at all either. Not Near as bright as my headlights though.

i own a 4th gen but damn everytime i see a 6th gen with those H.I.D.s I ... they look like they change from bright white - to blue - to purple... maybe its the headlight, but it looks sick...

Yeah the projectors do the trick....just like the HIDs of Audis.

The best way to get the 04 HID's is to go to the nissan dealership and purchase (this may sound a little crazy) a 6th generation maxima. The End
