Going to buy it.....

Ok, Monday, March 22, I am going to the dealer to negotiate on the car. I'm getting an SL with the sunroof as the only option, with Red Opulence and Black leather. Edmunds says the invoice price is 28,323. Any suggestions on what my number in my head should be?

Is this a five-speed or four speed automatic?

Is the number in Edmunds up to date and reflective of the upgrade to a 5speed autostick. Probably not. I would research it some more and tack about $500 on to it as a positive cap. Walk if they don't go for it and go all of the way home. They will call you before you get there. I ordered an SL with the 5 speed autostick, Driver preferred package, sunroof, VDC, spats and mats for $29,750 which I felt was a fair price. Check on the True Market Value number for the car in your area first. Good luck. SemperFi

The edmunds actually does have the 5 speed in it. I'm looking at 1600 less options than you are, so I think that I can get away around 28,500 at the most. That's my number that I will not buy above, I guess we'll have to see......thanks!
