Hi all,

I have an existing XM Delphi SkyFi from my old Max and was going to install it in my new 04 Max this weekend. I want a clean install, hidden, but my only other option is to pay $400 for the factory setup then transfer my XM id and then I wont be able to use my Sky-Fi in my portable stereo.

Anyways, I planned on mounting the Sky-Fi inside the center armrest since I have power down there, I can run the antenna down there through the back seat area and around the molding up into the back window. However the cable for the tape deck will still be visible, any suggestions on removing the center aluminum console where the shifter is and cup holder are so I can run the cable down there and come up by the compartment below the tape deck? Will this work? it will be the less visible solution I can think of besides pay $400 for a factory install etc...

Also does anybody have pics of a Delphi XM install???
