CD Player problem

My display screen says to "Press Eject" when i hit press the CD button.

The CD door looks like its open, but nothing happens when i press eject and it won't load any CDs at all (even when i press the "Load" button.

I'm going to the dealer tomorrow anyways, but i'm dying to try the CD player in the mean time. Any help appreciated.

I've only had the car for 2 full days. My new 04 Max is an absolute pleasure to drive and a very different car from the 03 that i traded in on it.

I had the same problem when I picked mine up. The dealer ended up replacing the unit.

Thanks for the reply. The unit is on order. I should get it this week.

After thinking about it, I didn't feel like waiting for the cd player order to come in. I called my salesman yesterday and told him i shouldn't have to wait days for a new CD player to arrive.

He called me back 5 minutes later and asked me to bring the car in. They took a player out of a Max in inventory and installed it into mine. Took all of 1 hour.

Sounds pretty good.
