New Maxima
I joined this board a few months ago looking for info about an Infiniti I35 that I was interested in but then decided not to get it. Well now about 5 months later, I finally gave in and bought a brand new 04 Liquid Silver Maxima SE with frost leather. I absolutely love it. I will be searching the boards for info. and probably have some pretty stupid questions in the near future but I'm glad to be a part of the Maxima community once again. I was a member way back when as NismoMaxima89 when I had my 89 Maxima but then I trade it in and had a 98 Acura TL and as of Saturday I'm the proud owner on the new Max. I knew I'd be back!

1. I had an 89 Maxima gxe about 5 or 6 years ago with 200k+ miles on it that was still running strong when I sold it. Maxima = Reliability
2. The TL just plain sucks imo. I had a 98TL which I had for almost 4 years and just traded it in for the 04 Maxima. I was not happy with that car at all. But, even from a different perspective, I was giving Acura the benefit of the doubt that maybe it was just mine that sucked so I test drove an 03 TL type S with all the toys and it still didn't meet my specifications. I don't think I will ever buy another Acura.
3. The G35 just never really caught my eye. I look at it as being kind of a compact car even though it isn't. I just don't care for the car although I've never driven one so I'm basing this solely on looks and design. The 04 Maxima is just much sexier.
