Wheelwell Hum at 80-85MPH
Hi -
I've noticed I get a humming (better described as howling?) sound from my front passenger-side wheelwell, but only when travelling at 80-85mph. I notice it most on what is a fairly smooth road and not grooved pavement (NYS Thruway)
I wonder if it's just a harmonic noise from the tire? Could it be my alignment is out?
BTW, I do not have the shimmy problem I've read about.
Anyone else heard this or have any ideas?
Thanx!

I get that hum when I'm doing 35-45 but, it only does it on occassion. I think that it's just tire noise. I'm not too worried about it.
