I have noticed on e-Bay guys selling the user manuals, that come in a zippered case.

Mine didn't come in a zipper case - the dealer put my manuals in an advertising laden dealer plastic case.

When I asked my sales guy if it had come in a zipper case originally, he said no - they come in a sealed plastic bag, and they open this and put it in their own plastic case.

So, did you guys get a nice zippered bag with your manuals??

Sheesh....I got the cool zipper case. I bet the dealerships are stealing them and selling them on ebay. (Yeah thats it!)

 

I knew those good for nothing, rotten, conniving, manipulative, devious, scum of the earth, loser dealers were up to something no good !

It used to be, I don't know if it still is though. My '93 still had it's manual in the zipper case when I bought it.

i got the really cool zipper case, along with 6 cards of each nissan for my saleman.

 

plus a nice chrome plated key chain . The Salesman also gave me a Nismo baseball cap because I was wearing my TRD Polo shirt.

 

My 2k4 came with the cool gray/black zippered case. My '91 came with clear plastic sleeve, and my '00 came with black plastic sleeve with NISSAN embossed on the front. With as many manuals as there are with the 2k4 (extra manual with elite), the zippered case was quite handy.

 

I got zipper cases with both our Max and our Armada. I do recall the manuals being in some sort of manila envelope or plastic bag and the salesman opening those to get the manuals out to review them with me and inserting them into the zipper case as we went over each one, along with his business card, a tow info card, and the service managers card. I wonder what the dealerships are doing with the zipper cases? Strange.........

Ok, thanks. I am beginning to feel I have been ripped off.

 

I got the zipper binder looking thing as well, it had all my keys and key fobs in it with the salesmans cards and finance managers cards in it.

I really don't care what I got but if I write enough posts that comment about "I must read FAQ before posting silly comments" might disappear! For that reason I add the following update, "I got the DELUXE zippered case.

Zipper case for us, as well. Your salesperson that didn't offer one was either (a) not aware of it or (b) not telling you the truth.
