Is the display screen in the middle capable of being used as a TV? In some Maxima's the screen is pure orange and only displays rudimentary information like mileage, etc. while others it has full color.

I was just wondering if it was available with the 6 spd manual tranny as well

 

The reason some show color is because they got the Navigation option. Those who didnt are stuck with the orange (except chrisaust of course!)

 

There are federal restrictions in place that prohibit TV screens within view of the driver. That is why all the SUVs, etc, with TV have none where they can be viewed by the driver.

 

Does anyone know of any "codes" or sequences to perform to alter the information on the displays?
