I just reached my one year with my champagne mist, max. I went to my dealer for servicing. The next day the "service engine soon" light has lite up and has been on for the last couple of days. Does anyone have any history with this? Before I go and waste a day at the dealership. Any suggestions on a quick fix would be greatly appreciated. My Max Pics link is below.

There is no telling what the cause of the light is. That light indicates that at least one problem occured... there are well over a 100 different possible problems that would trigger that light. So it's pretty much a shot in the dark unless you hook up a scanner.

 

this doesn't help much, but mine went off 110 miles after it went on.
it went on after the battery was disconnected to install
a new head unit.
