Hot Shot Headers

I went to there website and the the headers for the 3.5 VQ states for 2002-2004 Nissan maximas for around 600 bucks. Sounds like a good buy. Gonna call them later today, and if it is true, I'm gonna place my order.

Andy,

I emailed them a month or so back and they claimed that the '02-'03 headers would not fit our '04s. They also stated that they had no intentions of making a header for our cars.

Hopefully, things have changed since I spoke with them. Keep us posted.

By the way, were you able to find out the offset on your wheels?

I emailed HotShot again the day this thread was started. I told them that one of their reps informed that the headers for the '02/'03 Maximas would not fit the '04. I also asked whether or not this information was wrong.

Well, I never got a response, but I have noticed that, under Maxima headers, it no longer lists them for the 2002-2004. It has been changed to 2002+.

Read what you like into this, but I personally feel that this is shady business in full effect.

I dont see why those headers wouldnt fit the 04. I only have an intake on my max because Ive been waiting for the hotshot headers mainly because its the only performance mod thats gonna give a good gain. I would like to know an answer to this whenever someone finds out.

There is also a list of fitment issues on the 5th Gen Maximas anyway.

Doug, if you wish to drive upto Charlotte I could see what would be involved in installing the Cattman headers on your car.

BlackCloud is right on about the fitment issues on the 5th Gen. I was going to get a pair for my '02 before I traded it in.

As for the offer to drive up, I sent you a PM, BlackCloud. Let's discuss.
