This is the first time I've ever heard of Bluetooth function on the Maxima. What makes you think this function is available?

There's no bluetooth symbol on the display. I'd doubt that the Maxima is bluetooth enabled. Although it would be nice.

As far as I know, bluetooth doesn't exist for this vehicle. They have it on the Acura TL however. If you go to the Nissan website, you can see all the options that you can add on to the car and bluetooth isn't one of them.

the link you provided as of December 16, 2003....no bluetooth for 2004 Maxima's.....maybe a new feature on 2005's

the display is also used in the Infiniti FX and other Nissan products.

Maybe get a bluetooth phone with a bluetooth headset.

You're right! In light, I noticed a bluetooth symbol on the screen of my 04 maxima as well!

I think the bluetooth capability was only on 07 and above. My 07 has it but there is no signal bars on the info screen, there is a light on the over head console that turns on when I have a phone paired. Does your car have the phone icon on the steering wheel controls for the radio.

I have a 2006 with Factory Bluetooth and have used it since the car is new. It works really well. It might be only in SL versions though...

Yeah my 08 SL has it. The orange screen just says Bluetooth Mode and light blinks on my ceiling by the sunroof controll. That would be cool if it displayed signal bars and contact display on screen
