Is it possible to upgrade the Navigation CD to include addresses of Restaurants etc. The ACURA navigation system tells you what types of restaurants are in the area including the address and phone numbers. You can search by types of food i.e. Chinese, Mexican etc.

 

That functionality already exists in the version of the software that Nissan ships with the car.

You have to do a POI (Point of Interest) search. While not ALL restaurants are listed, it has quite an extensive dictionary loaded. You can search by name or type of food, etc...

 

...as well as gas stations, ATM machines, etc.

 

Route button -> Quick Stop -> 5 categories are displayed including "user defined" -> Restaurants -> Select "All" for cuisine selection
